The City of Markham is set to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday with its biggest and most vibrant Canada Day yet. Join Mayor Frank Scarpitti, Markham's Canada Day Co-Chairs Councillor Amanda Collucci and Councillor Alex Chiu, and Members of Council in the nation's most diverse city for:

Citizenship Ceremony
Welcoming 50 new citizens to Canada and to our community
Time: 9:00 AM
Location: Markham Civic Centre, Council Chamber - 101 Town Centre Boulevard

Seniors' Luncheon
A SOLD OUT event celebrating the contributions of seniors to our community with a free luncheon for seniors
Time: 11:45 AM
Location: Le Parc Banquet Hall, 8432 Leslie Street

People's Parade
Watch the past, present and future of Markham come to life
Time: 4:00 PM
Location: Beginning at McCowan Road and Hwy 7, leading in to Milne Dam Conservation Park

Milne Dam Celebrations
The City's official Canada Day celebration site that features opening ceremonies, live entertainment, kids' activities, tasty food and more
Time: 3:00 PM
Location: 8251 McCowan Road
